The publication Visited by a Tiger is a further development of the video work of the same name from 2019 and is based on conversations with the psychologist Dr. Lula Morton Drewes.

The starting point is the fist as a model for the human brain and as a symbol for struggle, resistance and solidarity. The first part of the text is a neurobiological explanation that points to the situational dominance of conscious or affective thinking and resulting actions in threatening situations. It is followed in the second part by a psychological reference to traumas caused by exclusion and experiences of racism.

The publication will also be accompanied by a limited and signed special edition, which includes an engraved record in a slipcase. Sound in collaboration with producer and sound artist Lamin Fofana.
